Aim: To learn correct MF/HF (SSB) radio operation.
Duration: 8 Hours.
Qualification: Maritime Restricted Radio Operator Certificate (MRROC).
Unit Standard 19492 available (5x Level 3 Credits)
The minimum requirement for commercial operators and users of MF/HF (SSB) radio. Covers routine operation, safety, distress & urgency calling and alarm signals.
This course is a component of the New Zealand Certificate in Domestic Maritime Operations (Restricted Limits) (Level 4)
