Aim: To gain detailed knowledge and practical competence in sea survival techniques and equipment.
Duration: 16 Hours.
Qualification: Advanced Sea Survival (Recognised by Yachting NZ & World Sailing).
Course: A comprehensive theoretical and practical course required by
Prerequisites: None. Coastal yachting experience recommended. Water confidence
Equipment: Students are required to bring along foul-weather gear and an inflatable Personal Floatation Device (PFD). This will be used for the practical session in the pool.
