Club Safety Boat Operator - Yacht Club version

A practical on-water training course for yacht club coaches and safety boat operators.
Aim: To gain safety knowledge and proficiency in safety boat operation, enabling better safety cover for sailors involved in yacht club activities.
Duration: 8 hours.
Qualification: Club Safety Boat Operator Qualification (Endorsed by Yachting NZ).
Prerequisites: None. (Marine VHF Radio Operators and First Aid recommended. Powerboat Level Two recommended for craft powered by 25HP and above).

Club Safety Boat Operator Training
Training is provided by experienced powerboat instructors - available throughout the country. Courses are ideally run at the yacht club – for its members as vessels, hazards and processes will be club-specific. The Club Safety Officer should be in attendance to assist with training on club specific procedures and equipment.
Price: Tuition fees are variable throughout the country but include a $20 per-attendee course pack & certificate component. Please obtain a quote from the instructor/training centre of your choice.
